DIEGO MOYANO - Hotel Manager

Diego began his hotelier career with Hyatt in 2007, quickly immersing himself in front-of-house operations and developing a strong foundation that propelled his career forward. In 2011, his passion for the industry took him to the United Arab Emirates, where he played a key role in the preopening of two newly built hotels. It was during this time that he realised being a hotelier was more than just a profession, it was a way of life. Returning to New Zealand, Diego joined Accor Hotels, gaining experience across a variety of properties and contributing to the rebranding of two hotels. After a brief break from the industry, he took on the role of Hotel Manager at Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel, his first experience in a boutique hotel and family business. He believes he can make the biggest impact—crafting memorable experiences for guests while fostering a team built on strong work ethic, passion, and leadership. Diego is an avid enthusiast of mountain sports, including rock and ice climbing, skiing, mountaineering, and mountain biking.
