New Zealand Architecture Award Winner 2008
“This hotel occupies a significant location in Queenstown wedged between public reserve to the south east and a major road to the North West. The site’s potential has been maximised through level changes. Interlocked internal planning and appropriation of the view over the reserve. The correlation between programme and form is readable in the articulated facades; urban and sharp to the street, and the light, gently faceted elevation overlooking the reserve. A worthy insertion in this unique site.” >> VIEW AWARD
